www.jobcenter.digital works reliably, securely and simply and allows you to submit initial and renewal applications, change notifications (for example, notification of starting work or a change in bank details) and necessary documents via an online channel.

The advantages of using it are obvious: important information and documents are sent to the Leipzig Job Centre at any time and from any location. This not only saves time and postage costs, but you can also use the online service at any time and around the clock and are therefore independent of opening hours.

Registering to use the portal is also easy: you can either use your electronic ID card or you can go to the entrance areas of the Leipzig Job Centre in person for authentication and receive your ID and password.

Submitting an application online for the first time

With www.jobcenter.digital you can easily send both the initial application for Citizen's Allowance and all the documents required for processing.

Applications must be complete

For fast and proper processing, it is essential that all necessary documents are submitted and that your application is completed in full and includes your contact details for queries (e-mail, telephone number). The application can be completed online. Documents can be scanned or processed as a photo, for example using your smartphone.

Important for online applications

If you complete the application directly on your computer or mobile device, be sure to save all completed documents on your device first. Only then upload your saved documents via the online portal.

If the document is not saved, the job centre receives empty, i.e. incomplete applications and attachments.
