Job centre on site
The Leipzig Job Centre is there for all those entitled to citizens' benefits in the city of Leipzig. Our customers are diverse and come from very different backgrounds and everyday lives, living all over the city.
In order to take greater account of special features in the city districts, the Leipzig Job Centre implements various social area-oriented services. Under the heading "Neighbourhood work" we organise various information and exchange formats for citizens and professionals in the social sector as well as district-related projects and campaigns.
Open consultation hours
Open consultation hours are currently held once a month in 10 neighbourhoods.
During these consultation hours, the job centre provides information about entitlements and benefits, explains its job search and training services, answers questions about the citizen's allowance and helps people to understand letters.
It is not necessary to make an appointment.
We organise information events on various aspects of the citizens' allowance for citizens and multipliers on the premises of our local network partners. The topics of the events arise from current events such as the introduction of the citizen's allowance or when certain topics become more frequent during consultation hours or at the request of network partners.
One regular offering is the dialogue rounds organised by the Equal Opportunities Officer on re-entering the labour market after parental leave. You can also often find us with an information stand at neighbourhood festivals.
