Benefit requirements

In order to receive benefits in accordance with the Second Book of the Social Code (SGB II), it is essential that you are able to work, entitled to benefits and have submitted an application for benefits. Your application is effective from the first of the month in question. Your income and assets play a decisive role in the calculation of the citizen's allowance.
