Declaration on accessibility

This declaration on accessibility applies to the www.jobcenter-leipzig.de published on the website of the Leipzig Job Centre.

As a public body within the meaning of Directive (EU) 2016/2102, we endeavour to make our websites and mobile applications accessible in accordance with the provisions of the Federal Disability Equality Act (BGG) and the Accessible Information Technology Ordinance (BITV 2.0) for the implementation of Directive (EU) 2016/2102.

Status of compatibility with the requirements

The accessibility requirements are set out in Sections 3 (1) to (4) and 4 of BITV 2.0, which was issued on the basis of Section 12d BGG.

The review of compliance with the requirements is based on a self-assessment carried out on 14 December 2020. An independent BITV 2.0 test is planned.

Based on the review, the website is largely compatible with the aforementioned requirements. The Leipzig Job Centre is endeavouring to remove the remaining barriers as quickly as possible.

The contents listed below are not barrier-free for the following reasons:

  • PDF documents are not completely barrier-free.
  • The "Mission statement" subpage is not barrier-free due to the coloured logo.

Arbitration procedure

The Federal Government Commissioner for Matters relating to Persons with Disabilities has an arbitration centre in accordance with Section 16 BGG. People with disabilities can turn to the conciliation body if they believe that their rights under the BGG have been violated by a federal public body.

You can contact the arbitration board if, for example, you are not satisfied with the answers you receive from the contact option mentioned above. The aim of such a procedure is to find a solution to a problem together and out of court with the help of the arbitration board.

The arbitration procedure is free of charge. You also need no legal advice.
