Joblings
Joblings
Joblinge gemeinnützige AG Leipzig supports teenagers and young adults who are having difficulties finding an apprenticeship. Every year, 140 "Joblinge" are supported here in Leipzig, regardless of their social background, in finding an apprenticeship on their own.
The programme, which lasts around six months, offers the opportunity to identify and develop their own strengths and interests and ultimately try out suitable professional fields. Training and internships at partners such as BMW, Stadtwerke Leipzig, Oper Leipzig or another of the numerous partner companies also strengthen social and job skills. At the same time, the jobseekers qualify for an apprenticeship in one of the partner companies.
During the various phases of the programme up to the start of training, the young people are also individually supported by volunteer mentors.
With Joblinge Kompass, Joblinge gAG Leipzig also offers a programme specially designed for young refugees, which is supplemented by language training, for example, in addition to the traditional content. The aim of both programmes is the long-term and sustainable integration of participants into society and the primary labour market. The "Joblinge" pilot project is funded by the Sächsische Aufbaubank, the City of Leipzig and various companies from the regional economy.
