phase<\/h3>\n<p>For recipients of basic security benefits under SGB II who are planning to become self-employed, the team offers support right from the pre-start-up phase. With comprehensive counselling, the opportunities and risks of self-employment are pointed out to customers wishing to set up their own business.<\/p>\n<h3>Processing of applications for citizens' allowance<\/h3>\n<p>When considering income from self-employment, a fundamental distinction is made between tax law and social law. One of the consequences of this is that only the necessary and reasonable expenses actually incurred are deducted from the operating income, regardless of tax regulations.<\/p>\n<p>If you have any uncertainties or questions, not only in connection with the EKS annex (declaration of self-employed income), please contact your personal advisor. Please make an appointment via our Service Centre or by e-mail. You can also use the sample notifications and declaration aids from the Federal Employment Agency.<\/p>\n<h3>Strengthening the personal responsibility of those in need of assistance who are able to work<\/h3>\n<p>We want to help ensure that self-employed customers can cover their living expenses from their own resources and strength, independently of basic income support. The aim is to end or at least reduce the need for assistance. Integration specialists are available as contacts for this purpose.
