intended to support the initiation and commencement of an employment relationship subject to social insurance contributions (at least 15 hours\/week) or a company-based training relationship.<\/p>\n<p>The subsidy includes certain benefits if the employer does not already cover these costs separately.<\/p>\n<p>These include:<br \/>\n- Application costs<br \/>\n- Travelling expenses (to job interview \/ to start work \/ commuting between home and workplace)<br \/>\n- Costs for work equipment<br \/>\n- Costs for certificates\/translations\/recognisations<br \/>\n- Costs to support the personality (e.g. visit to the hairdresser)<\/p>\n<p>Funding is available for people looking for training, people threatened by unemployment <a href=\"https:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Arbeitsuchende\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><i class=\"fas fa-external-link-alt\"><\/i> Jobseekers<\/a> and persons receiving citizen's allowance.  The funding option results from the reference in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gesetze-im-internet.de\/sgb_2\/__16.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><i class=\"fas fa-external-link-alt\"><\/i> \u00a7 16<\/a> Para. 1 Sentence 2 No. 2 <a href=\"https:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Zweites_Buch_Sozialgesetzbuch\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><i class=\"fas fa-external-link-alt\"><\/i> SGB II<\/a> i. V. m. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gesetze-im-internet.de\/sgb_3\/__44.html\"><i class=\"fas fa-external-link-alt\"><\/i> \u00a7 44<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Drittes_Buch_Sozialgesetzbuch\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><i class=\"fas fa-external-link-alt\"><\/i> SGB III<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Since 1 January 2022, rehabilitants have been able to receive additional placement support services in accordance with Sections 44 and 45 SGB III alongside the ongoing rehabilitation process if the responsible rehabilitation provider does not provide this service.<\/p>\n<p>It is important that you submit the application <strong><u>always<\/u><\/strong> place, <strong><u>before you incur the costs<\/u><\/strong><u>.<\/u><\/p>\n<p><strong>Initiation<\/strong> employment subject to social insurance contributions or an apprenticeship<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Travel costs to job interviews<\/li>\n<li>Application costs (e.g. materials for the application and application photo)<\/li>\n<li>Costs for certificates (e.g. health certificate)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Recording <\/strong>employment subject to social insurance contributions<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Expenses for necessary work equipment (work clothing, tools)<\/li>\n<li>Expenses for required proof (e.g. health certificate, notarisations, translations)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Mobility aids<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Travel allowance<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Costs for travelling to work. The costs of the lowest class of the most appropriate means of transport are eligible for reimbursement. A maximum of EUR 0.20 per kilometre can be reimbursed for journeys by private vehicle.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Shuttle journeys<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mobility support for daily journeys between home and place of work when working away from home.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Separation cost allowance<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you cannot reasonably be expected to commute between your home and place of work every day if you are working away from home and this makes it necessary to run two households, the costs can be covered.  The rental agreement for the additional home and the employment contract must be submitted as proof of the double housekeeping.<\/p>\n<p>If the employer provides accommodation, no separation cost allowance can be granted, as the employee himself does not incur any costs.<\/p>\n<h3>Moving costs<\/h3>\n<p>If it becomes necessary to relocate as a result of taking up employment away from home, the associated costs can be covered. However, the move is only considered necessary if the place of employment is outside the reasonable daily commuting area. In principle, only the pure transport costs of the removal goods are reimbursed, i.e. the applicant must pay for the dismantling and assembly of the furniture themselves. An exception can be made for sick or disabled people.
