2025\/2026<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Please note that as part of this year's school start on 11.08.2025\u00a0<strong>none<\/strong>\u00a0early payment of school fees for pupils is possible.<\/p>\n<p>This education and participation benefit will be paid to you by\u00a0<strong>01.08.2025<\/strong>\u00a0are available. If you have not yet received a separate notification of authorisation for school supplies, please submit the school certificate or proof of enrolment from the primary school for your child who will start school in the 2025\/2026 school year.<\/p>\n<p>For children who have already reached the age of 15, we also require a school certificate for the 2025\/2026 school year.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Automated authorisation for communal lunches from 01.07.2025<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>From 1 July 2025, the assessment and approval of the need for communal lunchtime meals for children, adolescents and young adults will be automated - without you having to submit a separate application or express your interest.<\/p>\n<p>What does that mean for you?<\/p>\n<p>As soon as you have submitted an initial application for the Citizen's Allowance and received the notification of approval, the Job Centre will check whether you are entitled to a communal lunch. If this is the case, approval will be granted automatically by the Leipzig Job Centre within around two weeks of notification. You will receive the education card in connection with the authorisation of benefits for education and participation. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A separate application is not necessary for benefits for education and participation. It is sufficient to specify the respective needs (lunchtime meals, one-day excursions). Evidence in the form of attachments is required for the needs of learning support, school transport, school trips lasting several days and participation in social and cultural life. It was often not possible for them to take part for financial reasons. For all courses of education, the minimum distance between home and the school attended is one kilometre.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Learning support<\/strong> for pupils: To ensure that the learning objective can still be achieved, the costs for learning support can be covered.
