style=\"--awb-text-transform:none;\"><p>The Citizen's Income is made up of additional personalised benefits.<\/p>\n<h3>Expectant mothers<\/h3>\n<p>From the 13th week of pregnancy, you will receive 17 per cent of the individual standard benefit. The additional requirement is applied for and proven on presentation of the maternity passport.<\/p>\n<h3>Disabled people of working age<\/h3>\n<p>You will receive an additional requirement of 35 per cent of the applicable standard benefit if you receive the following benefits or assistance:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Benefits for participation in working life in accordance with \u00a7 33 SGB IX or other<\/li>\n<li>Assistance in obtaining a suitable place in working life or<\/li>\n<li>Help with training for other appropriate work<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Single parents<\/h3>\n<p>They receive an additional 36 per cent of the standard benefit if they live with children of the following ages:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a child under 7 years of age or<\/li>\n<li>two children under the age of 16 or<\/li>\n<li>three children under the age of 16<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Alternatively, an amount of 12 per cent of the standard benefit must be paid for each minor child if this exceeds the above amount, up to a maximum of 60 per cent of the standard benefit.<\/p>\n<h3>Nutrition<\/h3>\n<p>This additional requirement is only granted if there is evidence of costly nutrition for medical reasons.<\/p>\n<p>The recommendations of the German Association for Public and Private Welfare (Deutscher Verein f\u00fcr \u00f6ffentliche und private F\u00fcrsorge) apply to types of food and illnesses diagnosed in this regard.<\/p>\n<h3>Decentralised hot water supply<\/h3>\n<p>An additional requirement is recognised if hot water is produced by devices installed in the accommodation (e.g. via electric instantaneous water heaters and boilers). The amount of the additional requirement depends on the age of the person entitled to benefits and the standard requirement applicable to them. Deviations are permitted in justified exceptions.<\/p>\n<p>The additional requirement is to be recognised retroactively to 1 January 2011, at the earliest from the beginning of the period of need.<\/p>\n<h3>Irrefutable, ongoing special needs in cases of hardship<\/h3>\n<p>In addition to the average needs that are covered by the standard needs, unavoidable, ongoing and not just one-off special needs that arise in atypical circumstances must also be covered. Unavoidable, ongoing, not just one-off special additional needs may exist, for example, in the cases listed below:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Care and hygiene products<\/li>\n<li>Cleaning\/household help for people with severe physical disabilities<\/li>\n<li>Costs for exercising the right of access<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>However, there is no separate requirement for:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversized and undersized clothing and shoes<\/li>\n<li>Children's clothing for growing children<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>School meals, school travel cards and private tuition<\/strong> are benefits from <a href=\"https:\/\/jobcenter-leipzig.de\/en\/monetary-benefits\/education-and-participation\/\"><strong>Education and participation<\/strong> <\/a><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"parent":16,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"100-width.php","meta":{"footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-35","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.2 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/product\/yoast-seo-wordpress\/ -->\n<title>Mehrbedarfe - Jobcenter Leipzig<\/title>\n<meta name=\"description\" content=\"Das Jobcenter Leipzig informiert Sie an dieser Stelle zum Thema Mehrbedarfe.
